WABA was delighted to participate in a successful trade mission to Ethiopia in partnership with the East Africa Association, bringing together a strong delegation of businesses to explore opportunities across key sectors.
The programme included high-level meetings with government representatives, including the Ethiopian Investment Commission, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Capital Market Authority, alongside site visits to leading industrial parks such as Kilinto and Bole Lemi. These engagements highlighted Ethiopia’s commitment to attracting investment and building the infrastructure needed to support long-term growth.
WABA members actively engaged on the ground, exploring opportunities in logistics, healthcare, manufacturing, mining, and security—demonstrating the breadth of potential across the market.
The mission coincided with the 4th Invest in Ethiopia Forum, which attracted over 800 investors from 71 countries and secured significant investment commitments across energy, manufacturing, and infrastructure—further reinforcing Ethiopia’s position as a leading destination for investment in Africa.
Trade missions such as this play a vital role in strengthening partnerships, deepening market understanding, and turning opportunity into tangible outcomes.
