Along with the East Africa Association, WABA is helping organise a Trade Mission to Ethiopia from 24th to 27th March 2026. This follows the hugely successful Trade Mission to Uganda which we have just organised and attended.
During the Trade Mission to Ethiopia, we will seek meetings with a number of government departments and ministers, including those covering finance, transport and logistics, agriculture and agro-processing, mining, engineering, energy and health/education. We will also meet and work with Ethiopian Investment Holdings, which is very influential in business and the economic development of the country.
In addition, taking part in the Trade Mission will include attendance at the Invest in Ethiopia Conference on 26th and 27th March. This event will be attended by hundreds of people from government and business.
The cost of attending the Trade Mission will be £475 + VAT per company. And I’m pleased to say that there will be a 20% discount on flights on Ethiopian Airlines for those participating.
