The Westminster Africa Business Association (WABA) is pleased to be attending the UK–Angola Trade & Investment Forum
The Forum has brought together an impressive range of senior voices, including Kirsty McNeill MP, Minister of State for International Development (Africa); H.E. Vera Daves, Minister of Finance of Angola; Ben Ainsley, His Majesty’s Deputy Trade Commissioner for Africa; and Lord Henry Bellingham, Chairman of DMA Invest
Discussions have focused on unlocking finance, attracting investment and building stronger UK–Angola trade and investment partnerships, with particular attention on infrastructure, tourism and the significant opportunities presented by the Lobito Corridor.
With representatives from UK Export Finance, the African Development Bank Group, the Government of Angola, the UK Angola Chamber of Commerce, and leading investment and infrastructure organisations, there is a clear ambition to connect investors with opportunities and turn conversations into meaningful commercial partnerships.
It is great to see such momentum behind the UK–Angola relationship and to be part of the conversations helping to strengthen trade and investment between the UK and Africa.
