The Westminster Africa Business Association (WABA) was delighted to host its Summer Reception at the Embassy of Ethiopia in London, bringing together an outstanding audience of ambassadors, parliamentarians, diplomats, business leaders and investors from across the UK and Africa.
Kindly hosted by H.E. Biruk Mekonnen, Ambassador of Ethiopia to the United Kingdom, the reception provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen relationships, promote new commercial partnerships and discuss the growing trade and investment opportunities between the UK and Africa.
Guests enjoyed an evening of networking with representatives from government, the diplomatic community and the private sector, reinforcing WABA’s mission of connecting businesses with key decision-makers and creating opportunities for international collaboration.
The event was made possible through the generous support of BIFA (British International Freight Association) and Tufail Group UK, whose continued partnership with WABA is helping to strengthen UK–Africa business links.
The Summer Reception was another successful milestone in WABA’s growing programme of events and highlighted the Association’s commitment to promoting trade, investment and long-term partnerships across the African continent.
